Make sure to keep your pet from being too hungry, bored, dirty, suck, or tired. When a "thought bubble" pops up, it means your pet requires care. Generally when you press menu, the icon it appears on is what your pet needs. If you are still unsure, go to his stats (the paw print), and there will be a message saying what is wrong. (ex. Maxxy is hungry!)

Food: Your pet needs food on a regular basis. Different kinds of food will effect your pet in different ways. To buy more food, go to the general store, or import some from the explorer TV game. See the food page for more info.

Play: Toys entertain your pet and keep it active. Beware that you can only play with a toy once, and it disapears forever. Then you need to buy more toys. To buy more toys, go to the general store at the bottom of the list, or you can import some from the explorer TV game. For more info, check out the toy page.

Trick: When you start the game, your pet can do one trick. It can learn up to nine tricks as its personality grows. Some tricks are only available when your pet has 60 of a certain personality trait. More advanced tricks are available when your pet reaches 125. For more info, check out the tricks page.

Clean: Your pet gets dirty over time, especially if you have been digging a lot. You should also clean your pet if it.. um.. makes a mess. :)

Heal: Your pet can get sick from being too tired, hungry, or dirty too often. Each sickness your pet gets may need a different medicine to cure it. To buy more medicine, go to the hospital.

Sleep: At night time and sometimes during the day, your pet will need to sleep. Generally my pet likes to go to bed around 9:30-10:00 and wakes up at 7:00.

Things not to do
On the internet, there's a method of "making hygene go down".

Is your pet dirty when Hygene is 100%? Here is the REAL way to make it's Hygene go down. 1. Send him or her to sleep. 2. At every meal check if he's sleeping. If it isn't make it sleep. 3. Keep him asleep all day. 4. Keep him or her asleep until his Hygene is 0. 5. It drops 5% every day.

Dont do this. Hygene is supposed to be 100%. 100% is clean. 0% is dirty.
